Željko Baotić, the owner and CEO of Baotić Group started his business venture in the automotive industry back in 1981 in Frankfurt, Germany. From 1990 the Group expanded to Croatia and from 1995 onwards it became one of the most recognisable brands. The company’s fast paced success is widely contributed to the persistant investments in growing an array of services around the core business effectively creating a one-stop shop for any buyer. As the company’s success grew, so did the vision of the CEO, creating a brand new business opportunity in the time of Croatia’s reemergance on the global tourism scene.

In 2001, the Baotić Yacht Center was created, which in the meanwhile became one of the biggest providers in the country for any yacht service. From 2001 onwards, the Center became an official dealer for recognisable brands in the yachting industry, such as Absolute, Axopar, De Antonio Yachts, Fountaine Pajot, Sessa Marine, Williams, Galeon etc. and in 2010 one of the most advanced and fully rounded marinas in Croatia was established – Marina Baotić In Seget Donji, near the town of Trogir. It was not only an excellent starting point for discovering the Adriatic coastline due to it’s proximity to the airport, but also it manages to facilitate a one -stop shop for anyone or anything nautical with the abundance of related amenties and services. This part of the group now offers everything from yacht sales, berthing and mainatenance, charter services to provisioning and various pre and post charter services combined with the marina’s luxurious amenities like the yachtclub 5 star apartments and villas. The all-in-one approach to any business concept seems like the underlying concept within the group, and it propelled it to great success.


In the yacht charter industry, it can be very challenging for charter providers to pinpoint an appropriate marina that exactly fits their needs and can fully deliver on both the expected level of service and the infrastructure. Currently, Baotić Yachting operates a fleet consisting of 25 vessels of which there are 8 Sailing, 3 Power Catamarans and 14 Motor Boats. Besides weekly charter the company also provides flexible daily charters and excursions with their new Motorboat fleet, which is an ideal solution for guests that want enjoy hybrid tourism and combine their stay in the villas or apartments located in the marina with a nautical experience or vice versa. Whatever the case may be, depending on the guest’s preferences, Baotić Yachting is one of the few companies in the charter business that can this firmly guarantee a luxurious stay for their guest at any given point of their journey.
